So, seeing as I have a sort of degree in graphic design one would expect me to be creative, right? But to be honest ever since I got my degree I haven't really done much designing. Sure back when I was handed my degree I was still productive, but now, 8 years later without any real work experience in said field, I guess you could say I've lost my Mo-Jo a bit.
...I mean I've dabbled here and there, did a little low-rent work for my employer when he needed a few things here and there, but to say that my degree has been a waste the last couple of years would be an understatement. My own fault, I suppose, I mean I did take a job that had absolutely nothing to do with graphic design. It's true what they say; beggars can't be choosers and I needed a job.
Enter stage left; unemployment and the opportunity to take part in a Marketing Course, free of charge. I jumped at the chance.
So here we are: I was set the task to make a promotional postcard for whatever product I wanted, so I decided to go with nail polish. I’m a Nail Polish fiend, okay?! LOL I have an addiction and I’m aware of it. ;)
So this is my finished product. Everything was made from scratch, well except from the actual nail polish. I can’t take credit for that, but I did take the photo and I did make the logo and everything else. And I have to admit I really enjoyed the process of making the postcards, so maybe my Mo-Jo is coming back? I hope so.
